"Hey boys, here is your new home!" (Sad thing is they would probably like it!)This is what I feel like we are going to be living in soon! We cannot find a single house we really like in our price range in the area that we like.
We actually looked at two houses, and even took our parents to see them, we really liked and even put an offer in on one but we ended up declining their counter offer. The house was too expensive for what it was! We found the exact same house, it was already pending, same floor plan and everything for $30.000 less. After we saw that price we KNEW it was WAY overpriced. Both of our Mom's and our realtor thought it was over priced too. Sad thing is that it was in a great schools in Leander for elementary, middle and high school, all exemplary!
The other house we looked at had 3200 square feet but the schools and the area around it weren't as appealing. So its back to square one and we are tired of looking at the SAME houses still on the market. We liked another house in Avery Ranch but our Realtor said houses have NOT been selling in there and we don't wanna do that. We also don't want another D.R. Horton home, our last house was D.R. Horton and we didn't love the craftsmanship. Plus adding the toll road to our expenses and me having to drive 45-over an hour (or most likely more) with the boys everyday doesn't sound too fun. The boys are going to commute with me everyday because they are still going to go to continue at their same school.
Corbin has already told my parents that our house in is storage! I can't wait to get our things out of storage!
