Thomas was really fun! It was a great memory to share with the boys! Thanks Jim and Kathy for taking us! We didn't really get any pictures of Thomas the train because it was too crowded. I think Corbin would have had more fun if he had felt better.
He ended up getting a fever and was home a few days. He spent the day at my moms house yesterday (we kept him home from school yesterday and today) and he left "backwards bob" at my moms and he keeps asking for it! Oh dear!

sigh of releif
Well we finally got our first offer on our house, the week we take it off the market, but sadly things fell through.
It was an incredibly weird situation. We had a three hour open house and were gone at Jason's sister Jessica's baby shower for our niece, Daphne, who will be here in early November. We had gotten a call that morning with a realtor who wanted to show the house that afternoon and we told her that we already had an open house and to bring her client then.
So we get a call from our Realtor and she says that there had only been those people and someone else who had come to look at the house without a realtor. Well our realtor said the lady who had come with her realtor had breezed in and out of the house for 10 minutes with her son. We thought "ok well she doesn't like the house whatever." Well on Monday I check my email at work and our realtor had said we had an offer on our house and that it was a cash offer because the lady had a trust fund and we would have to lease the house from her until March because she already had a lease until then. Well Jason and I didn't really want to lease the house until then and move out. But we didn't really let them know that because this was just a verbal offer anyways. So our realtor tell us the ladys realtor will contact us to come look at the house again.
We NEVER hear anything about coming to look at it! We knew it! So yesterday we get an email and it says the lady cannot come up with the funds blah, blah blah.
The house goes off the market as of tomorrow. Jason and I are actually relieved it didn't go through. I was starting to have moments of panic just thinking about packing up our house, working, and being able to spend any time with my family. I have been majorly stressed at work I have a student who has required me to do room clears almost daily, although its getting better and they have started to adjust slowly and I have had specialist come to help me, but my body couldn't handle all this stress and reacted in an unkind way!.
I mean you know girls it sucks just once a month but come on twice!! NOT FAIR!
Our poor dog and breathe a sigh of relief too. For a few days last week I noticed her scratching A TON. Then Sunday I noticed her nose had a sore on it and was bleeding. I thought oh dear maybe she has fleas. Jason and I took her to the vet on Sunday evening and turns out she had allergies and red bumps from being outside. She also has an ear infection. She got a steriod shot and some pills to take to help with the itching and some ear clearer to help with the ear infection. Our Realtor had told us to keep her outside because she barks constantly when people are coming to look at the house. Well we aren't doing that again. Poor Kylie !I think she is starting to feel better! Finally!
Jason and I decided when we do put the house on the market its going to be in the spring and it it doesn't sell by August it goes off the market during the school year. Typically fall is a slow time anyways.

My mom got the boys matching skeleton pjs when my parents took Corbin on their date!. Corbin LOVES to match Grayson in these pjs. He walks around saying "Mommy, I match Grayson!" He is so proud to match his little brother! :)

Goodbye "Oguwin"
"Oguwin" is sadly gone!:( Much to my family and Jason and my dismay. Corbin has started calling himself "Corbin" starting last week. I was putting him in the car to go to school and he said something, I can't remember, "Corbin!" I am already starting to miss when he sees a letter C and used to say "look Mommy its a C for Oguwin!" The cute things that toddlers say! :) At least we have him calling himself "Oguwin" on video and so we can tell his girlfriends down the road how he called himself "Oguwin."
Love you Oguwin! Corbin has really "grown-up" with respect to going to bed lately. Its amazing what giving a child a book can do! The past few weeks letting him take a book to bed has been like night and day for Jason and I! We no longer have to endure hearing our child banging on the door and crying for us. Heartbreaking let me tell you. Corbin and Grayson now go to bed with no problems and Jason and I can enjoy each others company. That is if I stay up long enough to hang out with my hubby!

9 Month Doctors appointment
Grayson had his 9 month doctors appointment on Tuesday! Yes, I know he will be 10 months on the 24th but with all the back to school appointments this is what was available. Jason had to take the boys because I had Back to School night that night. Jason said Grayson did beautifully!
Grayson weighs 18lbs 2 oz and was 27 and a half inches long. Looking back on Corbin's 6 months stats (I guess I was too busy to post 9 month stats), Corbin almost weighted 17 lbs and was 26 and 1/4 inches. So my boys are relatively the same in height and weight.
Yesterday at Target ( I am finishing this post on Sunday) a women came up to Jason and I while I was holding Grayson and she asked how old he was and I told her almost 10 months. She procedes to tell me HOW HUGE my child is! I was thinking "UMM THANKS?!" But then Jason pointed out later that he thinks she may have been a new mom and that she was ASIAN! They are used to smaller/shorter kids!
We got to spend the whole day with Grayson yesterday by ourselves because my parents wanted to take Corbin on a "Date" with them all day! We loved spending the day with Grayson by ourselves we ran a ton of errands and got to go to our favorite Mexican food place, Casa Garcia! We really missed Corbin by the end of the day though! I don't think Corbin missed us as he had the best time! My parents took him to get hamburgers and played on the playscape at Waterloo,rode the train at the mall, got a few Monster Trucks, and ice cream!! Thanks Mimi and Boompa or as Corbin calls him Poopa! I love that our parents are in town and are here to love on our boys all the time!
Grayson still only has two teeth but we think that may be changing soon because he has had a runny nose, and red gums. A top tooth may be emerging soon! ;)
We love our Grayson James so much! He is such a love bug and my mom always tells me how much he reminds me of myself when I was a baby! I was constantly cuddly and really sweet and loving. It doesn't hurt that he looks like a HUGE version of me! I only weighted 12 lbs at a year because I was three months premature and was super tiny!

Our boys
Since I have neglected to post pictures of our sweet boys lately I decided to post some pictures from the last month or so. Nothing too exciting, just day to day life. I have been so busy teaching and planning I don't have a lot of time for picture taking and I may regret that later. Something I need to change!Our sweet boy last night playing with Mommy! I would blow in his face and he would start hysterically laughing! I tried to get a picture of him smiling and laughing but couldn't!
Our day of attempted potty training! We haven't tried since! :(
Both of our boys have made this face! We have dubbed it the "jewish mother face." Not trying to be prejudice or whatever my mom-in-law is Jewish and she thinks its funny that we call it that! :)
Pulling up and crusing on furniture all the time now! :)
His shirt is wet from his sippy cup! :) He loves water!
