Big Boy Haircut!!

Mommy almost teared up when Anet cut his curls off! My baby isn't so much a "baby" anymore! He is looking more like a big boy!!

Yesterday, Grayson and I went to get his haircut! Corbin was supposed to go but he had a fever for the fourth day in a row! The child really needs his haircut! (Jason just called me and the child has another fever!) Grayson of course got his haircut while holding a "choo-choo" he LOVES choo-choos right now! :)

I wanted to get before and after pictures but I was holding Grayson while Anet cut his hair so I couldn't!

"meemup meemmmup"

I know I have said it before but Grayson loves to sing. Last night at Jason's dads house I was singing the "clean up song" and Grayson starts singing "Meemmmup Meemmup!" And I am a little embarrassed to admit this but Grayson sings "Baby"while signing "baby" by Justin Bieber! His almost 30 year old mother may or may not like that song!

On Tuesday night Corbin told Jason at bedtime "I have a fever." Sure enough he did! So Corbin was not at school the rest of the week. Grayson has been beside himself at school because his brother isn't there. When I drop them off at school they get to play in the same room together until more kids arrive. So Grayson has been super upset and crying and the teacher has had to come get him because he is clinging to me when we leave. He is NEVER like this when Corbin is there to play with him. Grayson even went to the door connecting their rooms one day because he wanted to go pick up his brother. I told him "lets go home and see Corbin" as we were walking to the car and he turns around starting to head back to school! It makes me so happy to know that my boys are so attached to each other! When we pulled up to Jason's dads house last night to get Corbin, Grayson started doing a high pitch squeal when he saw him!

So happy to be 3! My sister Carrie made Corbin this Monster Truck shirt! We love it, Carrie!

Opening all his presents! He got a lot of Clone War figures but ALL their hands, heads, and feet come off! It didn't say this on the package so we are a little upset! I mean most kids have younger siblings who could swallow the parts! :( Jason's brother Justin has a ton of the original Star Wars toys so Corbin has those here and the Millenium Falcon as well! We had to go back to Papa's house and get the "big white ship" because Corbin wanted to take the Millenium Falcon with him!

We celebrated his birthday early in his classroom on Friday and I brought mini cupcakes for his class. Corbin and his teacher had made a birthday hat! Grayson was able to come to his brothers party also!

Corbin had a wonderful third birthday! The day was spent mainly just the four of us. Jason's mom did come to Chuck E. Cheese with us. When he woke up and got to watch Clone Wars, this kid is starting to LOVE Star Wars, and he got to have a birthday cupcake! I want my boys to remember the little special things like getting to have a cupcake on your birthday for breakfast! I used to babysit a family that got to have ice cream for breakfast the first day of school and those are the things that you will remember from your childhood!

snow day!

We had a snow day! Jason and I were so excited to take the boys out and see snow, however little there was!! We only got one picture on our regular camera before the battery died! I got a few super cute ones and some videos on our phones. Grayson LOVED he snow and kept trying to bolt down the street! We brought some cars, and monster trucks outside and the boys went to town! Jason made a Teeny tiny snow man which Grayson promptly destroyed once I had taken a picture!
I am so happy we all got bundled up at 8:00 because by the early afternoon the snow had almost all melted!

Our beautiful kitchen!!!

We finally bit the bullet and updated our kitchen with granite and a new backsplash, sink, and faucet! Jason and I love it! Only problem is we are going to put our house on the market probably in March so we don't have much time to enjoy it! We are so happy its finally done! We had a few bumps along the way and the people that installed the counters broke the drainage pipe and claimed they didn't know. But it was fixed for free and everything looks great! Jason did an awesome job putting the sink and new garbage disposal in.

Jason drew this picture of an anime style Corbin! I love it! It is so cute! :) My hubs is super, incredibly talented!

This is what he wrote under the picture!

"My older son LOVES hot chocolate. Or as he prefers to take it - "cold, hot chocolate" (basically just chocolate milk). He turns 3 in a couple weeks, and I absolutely love this age. Seeing his face light up when he receives a mug of 'hot chocolate' is definitely priceless.

Also, he likes to wear his winter hats pushed down onto his ears to where they stick out. It looks silly, but in an incredibly cute way! "

It especially makes me happy because I am home with two sick boys right now! Corbin woke up yesterday with pink eye. I took half a day off yesterday and decided to take Grayson too! His eyes had been leaking green stuff which prompted Jason and I to think he had clogged tear ducts for about a week and a half. I am so glad I took him too! He had a REALLY bad double ear infection. Dr. Owens said that as nasty as it sounds his ear infection was leaking into his eyes. OMG totally grossed me out! His eyes are SOO much better even with only two doses of ogmentin.

E F G

The other day while driving Jason and I heard Grayson say "E F G!" The alphabet song is now our favorite song to sing and when Corbin and I are done singing it Grayson busts out with "E F G!" Today he said "all gone" very cleary too! I love this stage!

Corbin had a major regression sleeping one night and woke up a ton. It was not fun for us at all! I also started a new thing with Corbin that I don't come into his room without him being in his bed. So far its working pretty well!

Corbin has been super cute lately and has started saying "You pretty Mommy!" Melts my heart!
