Gray is 18 months!!

Our little Gray Gray is 18 months already (sorry Mommy is posting this a day late)! Grayson loved being in this grocery cart at Randalls the other day! ;) He looks so cute! He has quite an attitude lately! He says "I don't want to" all the time!

Gray really looks up to his brother! I got Grayson some crocs like his brother and when he saw them he had the BIGGEST smile on his face! He loves wearing them just like his brother! Just wait until he gets home to see the Yellow fire "boobs" (as Corbin calls boots!) he has waiting for him from Mimi that are just like Corbin's! I wish I could be there to see him get try them on but daddy and Mommy have to go close on our old house!

Our baby loves to sing "Ginkle Ginkle" aka Twinkle Twinkle and knows all the words, he still loves the ABC song, and he LOVES "E I E I O". We have a Twin sisters cd with play over and over on the way to and from school with all the boys favorites!

Grayson loves Almond milk, well any milk really, even cashew milk that I made in my mother's day gift, a Vitamix blender, from the boys! He loves to eat and frequently has to be CUT off from eating so he doesn't get sick!!!!

He also is super attached to his "monkey" and "owl" Angel Dear lovies. If he drops monkey he screams "MONKEY" "OHH AHHH" (this is quite interesting at 5 am when I am trying to get ready for work!) and makes monkey noises. Same with owl he says "hoo hoo!" SUPER CUTE!

As with his older brother he is obessed with the movie Cars and loves "keen!" We just got done watching the trailer for Cars 2 and the boys eyes were GLUED to my ipad! He loves saying "ka chow!" Oh Moms of boys! I love my boys dearly! :)

We love you so much Grayson and I love how sweet and lovey you are! He has been super clingy to me lately since we moved and I am kinda loving it!

Moved!

We are almost all moved out except for a few random things left at the house. We close on the 25th at 4 pm. I went to the house yesterday to see if we had any random mail and it was so weird to walk into our empty house! All our memories are there! :(

**update 5/22/11- as of this afternoon thanks to my brother and Jason we are successfully all moved out of our house! Jason and I went yesterday to patch up picture holes and touch up paint and I will admit I CRIED walking into our boys rooms and all the memories of our nightly rituals of snuggles and books. I lost it!

We have all had some adjusting to do, living with minimal clothes (me!), toys we want but are in boxes (boys), not being able to find anything (Jason and I!)

We've decided as a family we are going to start looking for a house after I get back from a mom/sister cruise in the beginning of June! I can't wait to spend a whole week with my sisters and my mom with fun in the sun! After that the house hunt begins!

We took Kylie to get groomed this past weekend at pet smart! I am sure my parents appreciate it right now because they are watching her for us until we move in. Its just easier to not have her there because she gets stressed when people come to look at the house as she is trying to protect her territory. I was teasing my mom saying that we may not get her back! This dog is in love with my mother!

The boys loved looking at all animals, birds, cats, fish and reptiles! Corbin was trying to find all the animals like the Wonder Pets! (His new favorite show!) Grayson just kept laughing and pointing to all the animals!

Grayson is getting super attached to his Angel Dear blankets. He calls them his "bankies" and he has a monkey one and he LOVES it! He asks for "monkey" a lot.

Jason called and we have a moving date set with movers for May 14. I am already in panic mode and was up until 1 am last night with anxiety! Heres to hoping I can sleep better tonight!

Pending and jury duty

Three weeks later our house is officially pending! A couple from Canada apparently bought it. We have to wait until next Sunday May 1st when the option period is over, so we aren't packing until then in case something happens. The inspection is set for Wednesday at 1:00. It is going to be stressful because we have to close on May 25. We have no where to go so we are going to move in with my parents for a few months. We looked at houses last week in Steiner Ranch and some of the houses are smaller and losing square footage and a bedroom for a lot more money. So we are going to keep looking.

On Thursday when I go home I got a jury summons! :( Its for May 23 (a week and a half before school gets out). I am not looking to this at all. I hope I am not picked.


The good news is that this morning I told Corbin we are going to say "Bye bye to diapers soon." I saw him pushing and ran and got the toilet and he pooped in the potty!! Hurray!


I was teasing Jason that with all these changes coming that I need to up my anti anxiety meds!

sweet and silly boys!

Last night at bedtime Corbin asked me "Mommy, (or Mama as he has been randomly calling me now) where did you get that ring?!" I told him "daddy gave it to me when we got married." He replied "oh its nice, cool!"


This morning he told he that his mouth hurt. A few weeks ago he told us that and had a slight fever and so he stayed at my moms house. This morning whe it was time to go to school he said "I can't go to school I am sick, my mouth hurts!" Jason and I are convinced he has allergies because he sneezed like four times. Jason and I just smiled at each other because it was so cute!

Grayson is really trying to talk to us, in mostly jibberish, but he is copying us a lot and trying to say a ton of words. I said 'teacher' the other night and he said it! He is starting to LOVE cars, choo-choos, monster, trucks, and just boy things in general!

Grayson in big boy underwear... we were asking Corbin if he wanted to put on underwear and Grayson says "bablaha (insert babbling here) pu on unnner." He is really trying to have conversations with us! So we put on a thicker training underwear on him. This kid may be potty trained well before his brother! Corbin is SO stubborn and terrified of the big toilet! We are just really going to have to force the issue this summer big time! I keep telling him he cannot go to the busy bee class, the 3 year old classroom, until he is potty trained!

We put our house on the market April 1st for a second time. We have only had three people come look so far and no offers. We got feedback from two people. One couple said they wished we had a loft upstairs and the other our kitchen was too small. Its highly stressful having our house on the market but its super clean and that's hard to keep up with when you have two young children. In both cases too the people said the house showed beautifully! :)

Fingers crossed we aren't waiting six months to sell this house! The poor boys are totally off their nap schedules and Corbin didn't get to nap both days last weekend because we were gone at parents houses thinking people were going to call but they didn't. We've decided as a family we are going to just stay home on the weekends until we get a call and then worry about it then. Its easier for the boys!

"dark gator"

Just for memories sake I wanted to write down two funny things Corbin said today! I wore cowboy boots today because my class is learning about cowboys/cowgirls and I promised my class I would wear them this week. When I picked Corbin up from school he said "Mommy, your wearing your "yee-haw" boots! Now he really wants a pair of cowboy boots to match Mommy.

Last weekend Jason and I got to spend almost all Saturday afternoon with just the two of us. We ran a ton of errands and went to dinner together and we stopped at Target. They had all the Star Wars movies for $10 each so of course we bought all six. We watched one of the the other day, the 1970's version as these are easier for a three year old because there is a lot more action. The new ones while are amazing because Hayden Christianson isn't bad to look at, has way too much talking.
So tonight at bedtime Corbin was telling me a story about C-3PO and R2 -D2 and how "Dark Gator" made R2-D2's battery fall out and that he needed to go to time out for hurting R2!

Oh I love our little boys they bring so much joy to our lives! :) Grayson is starting to really get into the routines at school and today when we got home and I gave him a drink, he sat down immediatly on the kitchen floor (its a rule in their classroom they cannot walk around with cups because apparently a few years ago a child was walking with a cup and was badly hurt.)

He is a little parrot and repeats back to us when we ask him to say "help please", "more please" etc. Its so wonderful to hear him talking! I love this stage!
